Instead of doing and entire cross post, check out the post on my blog. Feeling lazy and I want to go drink beer and play NCAA Football '11.

A few days ago I put out that I was starting a new project. I feel this is something I have been working up to, at least in my mind.
The Beautiful Ones
I've given a few details to this project and surprisingly I've had quite a few roger up to be a part of it. I hope after I put out the details that those that agreed stay on and that more will join. So here we go:
Nude (OMG, he said nude) figure study/bodyscaping concentrating on parts, shapes, curves, lines, light and shadows. The face will not be part of the picture so hair and makeup won't be an issue. As far as "location" my goal is to have at least 2 of these 4; black background, indoor location, outdoor location, outdoor wide angle environment shot showing the full body but still no face. Props can be incorporated like hats, sheets, shoes...etc
The level of nudity is up to each subject and what they are comfortable with. Some are good only with topless while some will jump around naked all day if they could. No pressure there.
This is going to be a long, ongoing project that may take months or a few years. The end state is to use some of the images for future show exhibitions and a compilation book. This is a personal art project. Shot will be reviewed between myself and each subject. Only shots approved by the subject will be displayed online (Flickr, DeviantArt, my Zenfolio page, and my blog) No Facebook or Myspace. This is a TF (Trade For) project. Each person will receive 5 finished shots (72 dpi) for each hour of work. You also get 1 full resolution file of your choice for print. Everyone will be required to sign a model release and a TF contract pretty much stating the above.
I thought this was going to be long and drawn out but I like to get to the point.

Greetings to my fellow Elseworld denizens and those that follow the site. My name is Mike and I fancy myself as a photographer. Born out of a hobby it has become an obsession, to the point where I see the world as I would through a viewfinder (sad, huh?)
You'll see me pop in here from time to time posting some of my work or babbling about some of the nonsense I see but I promise to keep it fun. In the meantime, have fun and enjoy life.
