Maverick
Maverick is co-founder of Elseworld. He specializes in digital painting, particularly figurative work.Born in 1974 in Lorain, Ohio, Mav had decided he wanted to be an artist by the time he was seven years old. Around tthe same time, he became interested in computers. In 1981, the concept of a personal computer was in its infancy. But as time went on, Maverick began to fuse these two loves and craft himself as a digital artist.
Mav is also an aspiring writer; having completed several short stories, he is working on finishing his first novel. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his girlfriend, Stephanie, and their two cats. He holds the post of Designated Drinker for the city of Pittsburgh and is a compulsive liar. While not writing or drawing, he enjoys reading, watching movies, throwing parties, white water rafting and playing pinball (pinball being the ultimate salvation of men's souls). However, on any given night, at 2 AM, chances are you can find him in front of his computer with a beer in one hand and a cigarette dangling from his mouth trying to create the world's next masterpiece of art or literature.
